A Little Goes a Long Way

Have you been procrastinating something relatively simple lately? Odds are fairly high the answer is yes. Even if you are well-organized at the office, often there is something in your personal life that you are putting off.

Think for a moment about whatever it is that you are putting off. Is it important to you or important to someone important to you? If no, think of something else. Now that you have an important action in mind, ask "What is the first step to getting it done?"

We procrastinate for all kinds of reasons and while it is interesting to dig into why, today, let us simply take action unless there is a very good reason to not accomplish the task. Take that first step, identify the first action and do it.

If someone is waiting for you do "get-r-done," you will build their confidence in you by taking the first step. If it is something you want to do, you will relieve the stress of not having a solution in motion.
