Tool to Search Libraries at the Same Time as Amazon

Some libraries across the country are adapting a tool that will allow you to see if a book is in your library as you view the title on Amazon.com.

Hennepin County is the first one to accomplish this in Minnesota. Imagine the $$$ you could save by finding out something can be borrowed for free instead of purchased. You may download a plugin for Firefox (an Internet Browser) that will allow you to run the search at http://www.hennepin.lib.mn.us/blogs/CatalogNews.cfm?ID=71. This feature is not affiliated with Amazon.com, but was adapted by Hennepin County.

If you live elsewhere, you may wish to find out of your library will be adapting this handy tool.
